Gabbar is where it all began. I brought him home with no idea how much his presence would impact my life. Nothing could have prepared me for how much I would end up loving him. I didn’t know he would become my best friend, my sidekick, my confidante and the one who would save my life.

A year after I brought him home, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He dragged me out of my bedroom just in time to get me help. He stopped eating while I was at the hospital and stayed by side day and night when I came home. While everyone else had lives to go back to, all he had was me and all I had was him.

Since then, he’s been my side through all the ups and downs life has brought. He’s my one constant in an ever-changing world. He’s ignited my love and passion for dogs and is the reason I started this project.
