“I adopted her when she was three. Somebody got a divorce and left her at the shelter. Apparently, they had two dogs and didn’t want to keep both. It was a funny story. My daughter in law had two dogs. The big one died and the little one was very depressed. She said to me, get a big dog and I will always let you leave your dog at my house (I travel a lot).
She’s twelve now. I don’t know what I’ll do without her.”
